IV International Forum of Young Librarians, April 11-12, 2019, Kharkiv, Ukraine

We are excited to announce three main topics of the Forum of Young Librarians 2019:

• Technologies (Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity etc)

• Literacy (Digital Literacy, Media Literacy, Information Literacy, Data Literacy)

• Promotion (events management, library marketing, reading promotion)

Partners: Scientific Library of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Kharkiv Regional Department of the Ukrainian Library Association

The forum`s participants are young librarians, IT-specialists, cultural managers, educators and other young specialists, who are interested in the creation of a modern innovative library.

This meeting is an excellent chance to learn more about opportunities for young librarians, to exchange ideas and results of library initiatives, to get into contact with experts in the field and to meet old and hopefully new collaborators and friends.

Program contains presentations, discussions, special poster session, non-formal communication.

Working languages are: Ukrainian, English.

Please fill application form  for speakers till March 1, 2019.

If topic of your presentation is supported by the Forum Committee for main Program, the Ukrainian Library Association will cover Forum registration fee.

We expect that your presentation to be up to 20 min (incl. questions from audience) on the Forum`s topics. Requirements to poster session are: poster includes short title, authors name, annotation and references; readable font text, poster size min A3 (297 x 420 cm). Print costs are covered by participants.  

Application form for participants without presentation is available till March 11, 2019.

Registration is valid only if the registration fee is paid:

• for students, members of the Ukrainian Library Association (up to 23 years old) -  8 Euro;

• for the Ukrainian Library Association youth (up to 35 years old) - 16 Euro;

• for other participants  – 20 Euro.

Poster session participants cover full registration fee.

The Forum registration fee covers expenses for a participant package, certificate, lunches, information support. Please, note that the costs for accommodation, travel or insurance are not included in the registration fee. The ULA Executive Office can provide organizational support, invitation letters and help with accommodation information.
